Tuesday Morning

Day 12. Bob called Mikele this morning, and told her that Dorothy gave him his first hug since the accident. A lot of her motor control has been suppressed by the brain injury and swelling, so this is a big milestone, especially emotionally.

That's wonderful news! I know there's a long way to go, but Dorothy, you've come so far already! We're sending lots of positive thoughts your way.

Dorothy, you're making amazing progress in a short amount of time. I'm sure it's not fast enough for you (or your parents), but hang in there. We're continuing to keep you covered with prayer.

Bob, I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's accident and it's good to hear that she is making great progress. If there is anything I can do to help or help you out at work, please let me know.

Bob and Mikele, We heard of Dorothy's accident through Suzie and Mary Lou, and have been following the progress through this blog. We are so glad to hear of progress and want you to know our prayers go out to you, as they have since we frst heard and will continue.

That was probably the best hug you will ever get and for sure one you will never forget Bob. It sounds like Dorothy is making progress each day. Good job Dorothy! I think of you often each day and pray for your fast and complete recovery.
