Dorothy is enjoying a quiet night with her Dad and Tyler. She's watching Batman, Bob says, and enjoying it. The guys are playing cribbage.
Bob tells me that we are going to have to involve Tyler in rehab, because today when Dorothy's doctor asked her to do one of the neuro tests: "Can you raise two fingers?" she wouldn't do anything. Then Tyler said, "Dorothy, raise two fingers." And she did. She always would do whatever Tyler told her to!!
A personal note: I don't know the words to express how comforting these posts are - to know how much everyone is praying and caring, and to be able to see the smiles on Dorothy's face when we read them to her. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!

Your family is constantly in our thoughts and prayers...thank you for all of the updates. Dorothy is definitely a fighter and we are looking forward to reading about her full recovery :)

i am still in the process of writing your short story. but i will have it done by the time i visit mikele again. which will probably be some time next week. i wish i could visit more frequently but alas, i cannot drive. today my family and i are driving up to visit the berkely campus. well, we are actually seeing the campus tomorrow, but we are going up today. i am totally missing a physics test for this...which means i have to do homework in the hotel room. besides that, it's still really rainy. last night it was pouring and the wind was way strong. it was kinda eerie. anyways i just wanted to let you know whats been going on and what i'm up to. oh! and on friday in spanish class, we had to write a composition aout going to spain with our husband or wife for our honeymoon. i picked batman!!! it was awesome! and kyle picked zelda, and austin picked prince!

Yikes! its been raining hard, and for days! You actually have water in your lake!! what a concept. I see someone below mentioned a short story... I have been working on a novel for quite some time. Its a magic story, sort of a cross between the secret garden and harry potter. I can email chapters to your mom if she thinks reading it to you might be nice. Just tell her to let me know.
