Dorothy's recovery status after the car accident on 1/18/08. She made tremendous progress during the months after the accident. She'll need to continue to work on some lingering issues for some time. Dorothy's asked her Mom to discontinue posting. Thanks to everyone for your wonderful and very helpful support!

Out of Surgery...
Dorothy is out of a successful surgery. The oral surgeon did not have to remove any teeth, and she is in the recovery room. Praise God!

Oh, and I was going to visit you today, but I opted out because, you know...you were in surgery. But, I am going to try and come tomorrow, after I get my stitches out. O_O
Oh, and Mikele...did you want me to bring anything for you? Food or things to do, magazines maybe?
yeah! if you want us to bring you more jamba juices or some biscotti or skittles or other treat-types, just call us and we'll figure out who's heading out to the hospital the soonest and we'll bring stuff for you, no problem!!!
Dorothy and family, Everyone from Period 2 English and Period 6 Theatre sends you their love and get well wishes. You would be touched and surprised, I think, by those students who are most vocal about missing you and how much they care about your recovery. Also, my church is praying for you. Many members are retired teachers or school personnel and still feel a personal connection to all students. You are going to Santa Clara to rehab? When I was going to college (Santa Clara Univ) I did volunteer work in an excellent rehab center there. I wonder if it is the same one... Keep up that determined attitude and know that you are in our hearts and thoughts! xoxo C. Kingsbury
