On Thursday and Friday, Dorothy saw her new Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist for the first time. It was so great so see how far she has come since she was last evaluated at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center on the 13th and 14th! We will continue to see both therapists for a while, I think, while we pinpoint those areas where Dorothy can still improve, and to find the best ways of helping that along. The next two weeks will be really busy, it looks like, with seven appointments scheduled in addition to our work/school schedule. Whee!
With Uncle Sumner visiting this weekend, we are hoping that both Brighton and Tyler will be here for a short family day or even dinner. By the way, Brighton feels pretty good about how his three-day Bar exam went. We won't know the results for a couple of months, but we are hoping and praying for the best!!
We are so grateful for all of you who are still caring and praying. May God bless you all as much as we are blessed by you!!

Jessica and I are sitting here reading your blog updates. You are doing so well!! Sounds like you alomst spend more time in medical appointments than in class! So glad to see your progress.
We missed you alot at Hume Lake and we kept saying that things feel different because you're not there. Hey, they have a new bull that you HAVE to try next year. I (Lisa) even rode El Dorado, but got bucked off after about 5 seconds. Jess rode 4 times for and stayed on for 10 seconds. Yee Haa!!!! We lost at Broom Hockey this year but Jess slammed a girl up against the wall, so did some other of "The Donner 8". It was a nice change to hear a new band, Campaign. We miss you girlfriend!
Love Lisa and Jessica Garrison
I am so thrilled about all your progress, still! I pray for you all regularly, and even if there is not a post on this blog, I check it every day! After my son's accident it seemed the doctors, and therapists had a monopoly of our life for a long time! Anxious to hear when your wires get cut. The braces bothered my son's gums a lot - and he has a plate in his lower jaw still; but its better. Want to thank your uncle for this blog and postings....was great to see who he is. Thanks for letting us into your life! Prayers are continuing for you.......God bless
It’s so great to hear about Dorothy’s continued progress. I check the blog a couple of times a day and definitely appreciate the updates. (By the way, it was fun to see a picture of Dorothy’s uncle. It was nice to put a face to the person who kept us updated during those most critical days.)
And, Dorothy, your progress is simply AMAZING. Keep up the good work. :-)
